What better way to kick off (no pun intended) your morning every day than a small dose of Orlando City to get you going?  That's exactly what we're doing with our new feature, The Morning Roar.

It's almost here!  The 2012 season is on the horizon, with just a day left until the Lions take the field against the Philadelphia Union.  The front office is buzzing with excitement, and so are the fans.  The anticipation is almost as fun as they game is sure to be tomorrow night.

The match itself will be a great test for Orlando City.  We already know we can hang with MLS competition, drawing 1-1 with Seattle Sounders FC on Monday in a scrimmage, so there's no reason to expect anything other than our boys playing down to the wire with a very good chance to win.  Still, it is preseason.  This match is about fitness and coming together as a club.  A win, like last season's 1-0 victory in the first ever Orlando City match, is icing on the cake.

Just as it is the preseason for the team on the field, it is preseason for the front office.  Over the course of the next few weeks, you'll see a lot of changes and progress is a positive direction.  Last night we unveiled our renewed focus on video.  Every week we'll have an update from training featuring player and coach interviews to make sure our fans have the most up-to-date information on their favorite club.  We'll also be rolling out new and updated weekly (and daily!) feature articles that keep you connected to your team in ways we've yet to see.  All of this will be spurred by the newly redesigned OrlandoCitySoccer.com, launching very, very soon!
