  Adrian Heath

  Head Coach

  Heath is in his third season as the head coach of Orlando City Soccer. The former Stoke City and Everton stiker is regarded as one of the top coaches in the United States, leading the Lions to two straight regular season championships and one postseason title in 2011.Orlando is 32-4-12 (W-L-T) under Adrian Heath in 2011 and 2012 combined, the best record in USL PRO. He has also won back-to-back Coach of the Year awards for his team's performance."
  
  Heath began his managerial career as a player-coach of Burnley in 1996. He was appointed the manager of Sheffield United in 1999. Adrian Heath worked with Peter Reid at Coventry City, and after Reid left he became caretaker of the club in 2005. He remained with the club until 2007.
  
  He was appointed manager of the Austin Aztex, an expansion team at the time, in February 2008. Heath was retained as manager when the team moved to Orlando to become Orlando City in late 2010.
  
  Before becoming a manager, Heath had a long and successful playing career. It started with Stoke City in 1979, where he played three seasons. He appeared in 95 games, scoring 16 goals. He joined Everton in 1982, where he became the club’s top scorer in his first full season. He continued to flourish in Everton’s system, scoring in double figures in every season until 1988.
  
  After leaving Everton, Heath spent the rest of his career on various different clubs around Spain and Eurpoe. He played for Espanyol in Spain for just a year in 1989. Heath then came back to England and joined Manchester City in 1990, where he enjoyed a successful three years with the club. He appeared in 75 games with City and scored four goals. Heath came back to Stoke City for a brief stint in 1992 before joining Burnley in the later part of 1992. During his three seasons at Burnley he appeared in 115 games and scored 29 goals. After leaving Burnley for Sheffield United in 1996, he came back to the Clarets in 1997, where he played his final season.

  Ian Fuller

  Assistant Coach

  Ian Fuller's playing career began in 2002 when he was drafted by Major League Soccer's New England Revolution. After a year with the Revs, Fuller joined the Rochester Rhinos (USL-1) from 2003-04. He then spent a year in Vancouver (USL-1) with the Whitecaps before joining his longest-tenured club, the Charleston Battery, in 2006. After leading the Battery to the 2010 USL-2 title and scoring the winning goal in the Championship Game, Fuller joined the Austin Aztex (USSF D-II) for the remainer of the season and playoffs. He is now a member of Orlando City, playing both midfield and foward roles. For a full bio, visit Fuller's page on the Roster.
  
  Fuller began his coaching career in 2009 with the Charleston Battery as a player coach. After the helping to lead the Battery to the 2010 USL-2 title, Fuller moved to the Austin Aztex in the USSF D-II league as a player to finish the season. Fuller joined Heath's staff in Orlando in late 2010 and is now entering his third third season as player/coach for the Lions.

  Marcos Machado

  Goalkeepers Coach

  Marcos Machado started his professional playing career at Sport Recife in Brazil starting in 1971. During his four year at Recife, Machado put himself on the map. He became the youngest to play in the National Championship in the first division during the 1973 division. Machado joined America Recife club of Brazil in 1975 and played one season for them before joining Associacao atletica Santo Amaro in 1977. He played with Santo Amaro from the 1977-1982, becoming one of the staple goalkeepers in Brazil. Other clubs Machado played from include Esportivo de Bento Goncalves in 1985, Central Sports Clube in 1987, and the Uniao Futebol Clube in 1988-1990. During the 1988-89 season with Uniao, the club won the Portugal Second Division Championship with Machado as the keeper. Machado continued to play with different squads up until 2000, where he ended his career with the Central Florida Kraze of the USSL.
  
  Machado, with his vast playing experience, is also bringing 15 years of coaching experience to Orlando City. He has been the keeper coach for the Olympic Development Program (ODP) here in Florida since 1998, Pine Castle Christian Academy Head Coach from 1998-2000, along with coaching various clubs in Central Florida area from 1997 on. In those 15 years of coaching, he spent six years as Technical Director with two different squads. From 2005-2007, he was the Technical Director for the IUS Elite Boys Program. In 2008, Machado became the Technical Director of the Florida Rush Soccer Boys program.

  Paul Shaw

  Head Coach - Under 23s

  Paul Shaw has 23 years of experience as a professional player in England, Hungary and the United States. Shaw began his professional career with English Premier League club Arsenal F.C. and remained with the London based side for five years. After leaving Arsenal, Shaw played in all four leagues in England for clubs such as Millwall, Sheffield United, Gillingham and Burnley. Paul also played for Ferencvaros in Hungary and former USL PRO side FC New York in 2010-2011.

  Throughout his career Shaw has played under many top coaches including Arsene Wenger, Neil Warnock, and Csank Janos. As a coach, Shaw has his UEFA B License and has coached in academies at Ferencvaros , Rotherham United and was also the Head Coach of FC New York in USL PRO 2010-2011.
