In his first season with the Lions, the veteran O’Connor brought leadership and experience to a relatively young squad. Known for his high energy and work rate, the combative Irishman provided depth and stability to the Orlando City midfield. O’Connor appeared in 15 games during the 2012 season, logging 1,694 minutes, and reached his 500th pro appearance while in Orlando City colors.

James began his career at sister club Stoke City in 1996 and brings a wealth of experience from the English divisions. James has also played for West Brom, Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday.
